April 2026 Ranking Austria
The April rankings for Austria tell two stories at once. A frozen top three that has now held for three straight months. And the most dramatic comeback the ranking has seen since launch. Selina Hehl drops five spots in March, climbs five back in April, and posts the highest engagement rate of anyone in the entire Top 10.

Top Personal Brands Austria, April 2026
The pattern Austria established in early 2026 holds. The podium rewards consistency. The mid-table churns. Mike Leber, Nana Janashia and Leila Gharani lock in their third consecutive month at #1, #2 and #3. A level of stability we haven't seen in any other country ranking. Below them, half the Top 10 is in motion, two newcomers enter, and one returning name proves that the whoranks Score punishes slips and rewards rebounds in real time.
New Entrants & Drop-outs in the Austrian Top 10
Ranking | March | April |
|---|---|---|
#1 | Mike Leber | Mike Leber ✅ |
#2 | Nana Janashia | Nana Janashia ✅ |
#3 | Leila Gharani | Leila Gharani ✅ |
#4 | Elli Köstinger | Selina Hehl (↑ from #9) |
#5 | Rafael Mariano Grossi | Peter Bosek (↑ from #8) |
#6 | Annette Mann | Rafael Mariano Grossi (↓ from #5) |
#7 | Markus Hörndler | Markus Hörndler ✅ |
#8 | Peter Bosek | Florian Gschwandtner (↑ from #10) |
#9 | Selina Hehl | Johann 'Hansi' Hansmann 🆕 |
#10 | Florian Gschwandtner | Ingrid Gerstbach 🆕 |
Newly entering the Top 10 this month are Johann 'Hansi' Hansmann (Serial Entrepreneur & Business Angel) and Ingrid Gerstbach (design thinking expert, management consultant, author). Hansmann enters at #9 with just 15,921 followers but a 2.90% engagement rate. One of the strongest signal-to-reach ratios in the ranking. Gerstbach takes #10 on the back of consistent thriving activity and a respectable 55,966 followers.
At the same time, Elli Köstinger and Annette Mann drop out of the Austrian Top 10. Köstinger had only just entered in March at #4. Another reminder that a strong debut needs a follow-up month. Annette Mann's exit is more striking. She was March's biggest climber, jumping from #9 to #6, only to fall outside the rankings entirely thirty days later.
Biggest Movers of the Month
Selina Hehl is the story of the month, full stop. In March, she was the steepest faller in the Top 10. She slipped from #4 to #9 despite the highest engagement rate in the ranking. In April, she climbs straight back to #4 with a whoranks Score of 6.9, average reactions of 1,981 and an engagement rate of 7.95%. Comfortably the highest of anyone ranked. From biggest dropper to biggest climber in consecutive months. The whoranks Score doesn't hold grudges. It measures what's happening now.
Peter Bosek moves from #8 to #5 with a Score of 6.8 and a 4.93% engagement rate. The Erste Group CEO has now climbed in two consecutive months and is the only sitting CEO in the Top 5. The kind of slow, steady rise the Score is designed to surface.
Florian Gschwandtner climbs from #10 to #8, recovering from his March slide. His activity status is still flagged as "Quiet," but the underlying momentum is enough to lift him two spots in a more competitive field.
Rafael Mariano Grossi slips from #5 to #6. A one-spot drop, but notable because he was March's other big debut. Unlike Köstinger, Grossi's content held up well enough to keep him in the Top 10. With 906 average reactions and a 2.32% engagement rate, the IAEA Director General is making the kind of debut that survives a second month.
The Core Insight
The story of April in Austria is the gap between the locked top and the moving middle. Mike Leber, Nana Janashia and Leila Gharani are now three-month constants. Three different content styles, three different audiences, but the same outcome. Show up every week with quality, and the Score sticks. Below them, four of the seven remaining slots changed hands in a single month.
And then there's Selina Hehl. Down five, up five. The whoranks Score is a mirror. What you do this month is what you rank.
