Introducing AI Vibe

Every person in the whoranks rankings now has an AI Vibe. It’s a score from 0 to 100 that shows how strongly someone uses AI for their LinkedIn presence. And with one switch you decide whether it counts toward the whoranks Score.

What the AI Vibe shows

You’ll find it as a new column in every ranking, right next to the whoranks Score, and on every profile. The closer the number gets to 100, the stronger the AI signal in that person’s posts. The colour follows the number, green at the low end and orange at the high end.

There is one value per person, and on their profile you also see it on every single post. So you can tell whether someone writes everything with AI or only uses it for the odd announcement.

One switch, two rankings

Above every ranking there’s a switch called AI vibe in score. Off, the whoranks Score works exactly as before. On, the AI Vibe goes into the Score. A low AI Vibe leaves the Score where it is, and the higher it gets, the more it pulls the Score down.

On the day we launched, that reordered a good part of the Austrian Top 10. Daniel Keinrath, whose posts sit at 9/100, moved from #6 to #3. Margarete Schramböck at 16/100 moved from #9 to #5. Leila Gharani kept her 6.9 exactly and took #1. Martin Seiter and Laura Raggl came into the Top 10, while names with a higher AI Vibe lost up to 0.7 points.

Why it’s off by default

The ranking measures how a personal brand performs on LinkedIn, and a post reaches people whether it was written by hand or with help. So the default view leaves the AI Vibe out, and so do our monthly ranking posts. Turn it on when you want to see who performs with their own voice.

What to do with it

Check your own number first. It sits in your row of the ranking and on your profile. A high AI Vibe next to a low engagement rate is worth a closer look at your last few posts.

Then look at the people right above you. Flip the switch and watch who holds their seat and who doesn’t.

Open any ranking, flip the switch, and see where you’d stand if only your own voice counted.
