August 2026 Ranking Austria
Austria's three biggest audiences now hold the three top seats. Leila Gharani climbs from #5 to #2 on Quiet activity and a 0.26% engagement rate, while Selina Hehl produces more comments than anyone in the country and finishes fourth.

July's edition said the math had finally caught up with the profile that was outperforming its position. August moved that profile back down two places. Selina Hehl averaged 365 comments in August, more than any other name in the Austrian Top 10, and she sits at #4.

Biggest Movers of the Month
Leila Gharani climbs from #5 to #2, her Score rising from 6.9 to 7.1. She is the only returning name in the Austrian Top 10 whose Score went up this month, and she did it on Quiet activity, 404 average reactions and 22 average comments against 173,229 followers. Reach carried the seat.
Selina Hehl falls from #2 to #4 with the strongest engagement numbers in the country. 5.22% engagement, more than double the next name on the board. 1,827 average reactions on 43,270 followers. And 365 average comments, six more than Mike Leber manages on almost seven times the audience. Her following grew by 2,475 in August, which continues the run she described in her guest post on the psychology behind that growth.
Sebastian Kurz posts the biggest drop of the month, #4 to #7, and the biggest Score loss, 6.9 down to 6.5. His average reactions fell from 611 to 197 and his engagement rate from 0.75% to 0.26%. His activity now reads Quiet.
Rafael Mariano Grossi moves four places up to #5 on an unchanged Score of 6.6. The IAEA Director General held #9 in June and July while the names around him churned, and this month the churn went his way. 455 average reactions, 13 average comments, 1.05% engagement.
Mike Leber keeps #1 through his weakest recorded month. Average reactions fell from 7,342 to 2,648, comments from 585 to 359, engagement from 2.74% to 1.09%, and his Score from 8.3 to 8.1. He still leads #2 by a full point.
The Core Insight
Austria's top three now sorts by audience size, and the profile with the best engagement numbers in the country sits underneath all of it. That combination has not appeared before. Gharani rose three places while her posts collected 22 comments each. Janashia held her seat at 0.09%.
The Score reads five things off a profile, and audience credibility is one of them. In a month where the loudest accounts cooled off, the accounts with the most followers behind them lost the least. Leber shed almost two thirds of his reactions and stayed a point clear. Gharani stayed Quiet and gained two places.
Look at the other end of the same table. Horx and Schellhorn are the two smallest audiences in the Top 10, and they entered on 1.10% and 2.05% engagement while nine bigger accounts were available to take those seats. Below the podium the ranking still runs on how much a post actually does.
So the board splits in two this month. Size settles the podium. Everything under it is still up for grabs.
